Show NEW MILITARY PARK LAW IS PROPOSED Washington, D C . Jan 2 The war department has sent to the house pro posed legislation for better protection of national military parks. The measure submitted defines as mlsde meanors the willful destruction, de facement or removal of any monument, monu-ment, statue, marker, guldepost. fence i in irirTTicgfcjrtjMai or other structure or tree, arbor or plant within the limits of any nation al park. Persons trespassing for hunting or shooting or trapping or other device for catching game. Persons who do not confine their course in traveling o?r the parks avenues and streets, by vehicle or or. horseback, to the roads constructed for such purpose or who do not observe ob-serve the ordinary highway rules cf drive uncontrollable horses or drive any vehicle faster than 12 miles an hour, or eight mileb in approaching or rounding curves. Persons who camp In the park or sell liquors or pictures without per mit or throw missiles or Interfere with birds and their nests, or display advertisements, or solicit contribu tions or discharge explosives or are boisterous, or profane, or "play bail or other games of sport ot chance. Persons who allow their livestock to -run at large.
