Show 1 Society PLEASANT MEETING HELD. Tuesday afternoou at 2:30 o'clock Mrs. Elizabeth Shoxten entertained the members of company C of the Daughters of the Pioneers at her home, 521 Twenty-seventh street. Mr. Arlntha Douglas of the gen A eral board was a visitor. A part In Tullldge's History of Utah war read and discussed by Mrs. Mary Browning, after which a short but in teresting talk on the New Year was held. Miss Josephine Shorten favored the guests with a solo given In her well-known well-known charming manner. Mrs Shorten was ably assisted in entertaining and serving luncheon by her daughter, Mrs. Mable Shorten McKay. |
