Show RIFLE TEAMS TO BE RECLASSIFIED New York, N V Nov. 17 The rifle teams representing the various uni verities in the Intercollegiate Rifk league, are to be re-classified this winter. win-ter. The United States war department depart-ment and the National Rifle association associa-tion are responsible for the new clas Blflcatlon for competing teams In the gallery shooting championship of the United States Formerly there were two divisions, designated as the eas' ern league and the western league, but the plan has been changed so that now the classification will be ao cording to the record of efficiency Thre still remain two divisions of which ono will be known as Class A and the other as Class B. The stand ing of the different college teams at the present time under the new ruling rul-ing is based on the records mad'-' Is the Intercollegiate league matches of 1913. Class A is to consist of the twelve colleges v. hose averages were the highest In those matches, and Class H is to consist of the rest of the teams in the competition. |
