Show BABY LEFT IT THE DOOR OF HOME 1 PROVO i . " Provo, Tan. 10. At 10 45 Saturday nicht a haby boy. 4 days old, was lft on the doorstep of Mrs. N. J. Strong's house in the First ward. Mrs. Strong was entertaining company com-pany that evening and had gone into the kitchen to prepare some food when she heard a noise at the back door as of a raf meting She opan-ed opan-ed the door and found the bay, wrapped wrap-ped in a pair of cotton blankets. Opening Open-ing the bundle she found two roses folded in the arms of the infant with some articles of clothing, a nursing bottle and $15 in money Further examination disclosed in the clothing a note which said: "Please take care of this little babe it is for the best and God will reward re-ward you, if not on this earth Ho surely will in heaven.'' There is absolutely no clew as to who are the parents of the babe Mrs Strong will care for the little one until oi her arrangements for its rearing rear-ing may be made. nn |
