F Jensen, president of the Jensen Creamor company, was elected president of the Salt Lake Commercial club ves-terday ves-terday afternoon by the new board 01 governors. F. S. Murphy was elected vice president. Will G. Far-rell Far-rell secretarv and managing director, and John F. Bennett, treasurer. All have been prominent in Commercial club activities during the past year The new board of governors, elected elect-ed January 10, met and organized last Friday, but postponed the election of officers until yesterday. W. F. Jensen, Jen-sen, who succeeds Dr. E. D. Woodruff, was a re-elected member of the board, his first three year term having expired ex-pired at the last election F. S. Murphy, Mur-phy, the new vice president Is serv-Ing serv-Ing his second year as a governor of the club, having been elected in January, Jan-uary, 1913. John F. Bennett Is in the last year of his three-year term, having hav-ing been elected In January, 1912. Secretary Farrell took the reins of management at the Commercial club In the spring of last year, when Joseph Jo-seph E Calne retired to become secretarv sec-retarv of the club at Oakland, Cal. It is probable that Mr. Farrell will reappoint re-appoint W. C. Stark as assistant sec-I sec-I retary and George C. Cowing as di- rector of the publicity bureau. |
