Show NO REPORT IS MADE ON CITY AFFAIRS Last evening in the office of the maor the citizens' committee appointed ap-pointed by Mayor A O Fell to instl-gate instl-gate the working:-, of the commission form of government In Ogden and jiicln the account6 of ihi municipality met informally with the dtj bo;ird of commissioners. As a result of the meeting It is possible that the committee will extend ex-tend Its labors beyond the mere review re-view of the finances of the city compared com-pared with previous jeurs and offer some recommendations as to administrative admin-istrative affairs Neither the members of the committee com-mittee nor the board of commissioners commission-ers have anything to say as to the . meeting and it. Is not known Just whin was done, but from what the I chairman of the committee ami Mayor Pell have said the meeting was pure-I pure-I l informal in character The committeemen met with 'he hoMnl for the sole purpose of learn -I ing what scope their report should I take and whether it should go beyond the financial affairs of the city The j committee gained little information on this point, but enough was Bald ' bj the member of the board to cause them to conclude that their report shall be more extended than at first antic ipated. Chairman lohn Plngree of the com mlttee stated toda that in all likelihood likeli-hood the committee would meet again this week and prepare a complete report, re-port, even beond that of auditing He also states that while tho special auditor has marie his report to the committee, a further Investigation might be made bearing on i financial comparison of the present administration administra-tion with past administrations Mayor Fell today laughed at the ex-aggerated ex-aggerated stories of the meeting last night and he staled lhat. so far as he is concerned, he would be pleased to have the committee no as far as it sees fit. The committee may have valuable rt commendations to make and should make them, if deemed necessary to the better administration of the affairs af-fairs of the city.
