There weie 200 members present The winners of prizes, were j Mrs Bert Syphers, first; Mrs Ed I Folkman. second. and Mrs .Jonn Smalley, boobv James K Knight, I first; James Campion, second, for the! gentlemen s prizes Light refreshments were served aft-er aft-er the card games by Mrs May Huff, and Miss Minnie Davidson. The following program was given: giv-en: Solo by W Hansen, accompanied by j Louis Saville; solo b Charles Mantel, I accompanied bv Miss Pauline Storer, comic quartette bv I Blair and family; fam-ily; selection by the Eagles' quar- 1 terto, Bert Syphers, Charles Blair Louis Leavitt and George Welsh, accompanied ac-companied by Louis Saville; sparring spar-ring contest by Thomas Williams and Frank Giers. Short speeches were made during the evening bv President I C Emmet Em-met t and Secretary Joseph Oliver. The evening's entertainment was closed In a delightful dance. George Dinsdale.
