Practically all the money needed for the lights has been raised by the committee from the Weber club. D. Kline of the Ogden Rapid Transit company slated this morning that while the poles will be ordered within the next few days, he does not know exaetlv what they will cost It will be an up-to-date Iron pole used in other cities and of such quality that it will last practical! for ail lime It will extend below the surface of the sidewalk a distance dis-tance of about five feet and will be placed at the curb line The lamp to be used is now on exhibition at ihe corner of Twontv -fourth Btreet and Washington avenue, a description of which was given In the Standard a few da s ago. |
