PLAT A AND LEVYING AND ASSESSING A SPECIAL AND LOCAL TAX ON THE PROPERTY A BUTTING THEREON TO DEFRAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES OF THE SAME. BE IT ORDMNED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF OGDEN CITY, UTAH: Sec 1. That for the purpose of establishing es-tablishing and opening Hudson avenue ave-nue 60 feet wide north and south through block 39, plat "A," or Ogden City survey, being SO feet on either and both sides of the center line of paid avenue, said center line being j at City Station B-96 plus 02.35, and parallel to the center line of Washington Wash-ington avenue, the whole distance to be opened between 22nd and 23rd streets, a special and local tax amounting to the sum of $20 uOO 00, being $17.314518 per lineal front foot and SO. 06041931 per square foot of area, is hereby levied and assessed In accordance with the provisions of this ordinance upon all the lots and parts of lots, land and real estate to be benefited by the opening of said avenue, the same being described as follows- A strip of land 50 feet wide abut-ting abut-ting on the east side of said Hudson avenue when opened between 22nd and 23rd streets, being part of lots 1, 7. 8, 9 and 10. block 39, plat "A." beginning at a point 3i feet east of the southwest corner of lot 1, on the north line of 23rd street and on the east line of said Hudson avenue, thence east 50 feet, thence north 662 04 feet, thence west 50 feet, thence south 682 -04 feet to beginning Also a strip of land 50 feet wide abutting on the west side of said i Hudson avenue when opened between 22nd and 23rd streets, being part of lots 2, 3 4, 5 and G. block 39. plat' "A," beginning at a point 30 feet west of the southeast corner of lot 2, on the north line of 23rd street and west line of said Hudson avenue, thence.! west 60 feet, thence north 662.04 feet, thence east 50 feet, thence south 662 -,04 feet to beginning, making a total frontage to be taxed on the east side of said avenue of 602 04 feet, ami a total frontage to be taxed on the wc6t side of said avenue of 662.04 feet And It is hereby determined and established that all of said above mentioned and described premises will be especially benefited by the opening open-ing of said avenue to the full amount of the taxes hereby lex led and assessed, as-sessed, both as to area and liueal front feet, and the said tax la hereby levied and assessed upon 6ald premises prem-ises according to said area and lineal lin-eal front feet abutting upon 6ald portions por-tions of Hudson avenue to a depth of 50 feet back from the said respective respec-tive boundary lines of said Hudson avenue. Sec. 2 To defray the costs and expenses ex-penses of making said improvements and establishing and opening said avenue, av-enue, a special and local tax. amount ing to the sum of $20,000.00 being $17.314618 per lineal front foot and 10.06041931 per square foot of area, ts hereby levied and assessed in accordance ac-cordance with the provisions of this ordinance on a part of lots 1 to 10. Inclusive, In-clusive, block 39, plat "A." of Ogden City survey, to a depth of 50 feet back from the boundary lines of said Hudson avenue. Sec 3 Said taxes and assessments shall become delinquent In four installments in-stallments as follows: One-fourth thereof shall become delinquent and the same shall be payable 30 davs after the date of this tax ley, one-fourth one-fourth in one year, one-fourth In two years and one-fourth In three years after said date of tax levy, each of said installments, except the first, shall draw interest at the rate of Be -en (7) per cent per annum from the time of said le until the same shall become delinquent, and after the simp 9hall become delinquent, Interest at the rate of ten tin) per cent per annum an-num shall be paid thereon, to be computed com-puted from the respective dates of delinquency de-linquency until payment is made Sec. 4.
