HE WAS ROBBED while dreaming and drinking the hours away evening a man named A arnold decided to see the town and to have a more optimistic opinion of conditions in the city he started to drink to the health of bacchus in at least six saloons possibly god af sleep was jealous of the attentions shown bacchus at any rate arnold grew drowsy about the fourth aa loon and lay down to rest while dreaming of sparkling water and a drow without a throb a stranger slipped up and smoothly stole his watch arnold did not go home when the watch was stolen but continued on his fray and slept in tho fifth saloon when he awoke two rings worn on hie left hand were gone and about 10 in silver he was now thoroughly aroused and rushed over to the station to report his loss no clue could be obtained to work on and it is not probable that his goods will be recovered
