Show COMMENT EAST UPON GOLDFIELD RESULTS With the receipts of the detailed May report and the preliminary June report of tbc Goldrield Consolidated we are in a position to give the essential es-sential data contained therein, sav Thompson, Towle & Co The May report, which was delaved owing to the time required to obtain the returns from the ore shipped to the International smelter, gives the net profits for the month at $309,622 This being obtained from the treatment treat-ment of 30,215 tons, averaging JIS"0 per ton. During the month' some good ore was encountered In the Mohawk, where In a rais above the third level ten Teet of ore was intersected, averaging $S0 per ton The most Important Im-portant developments, however, were those that took place on the deep lcvols in the Clermont, particularly on the aSOO-foot level of the Grizzly I Bear. The drift which is being drlv- leu on tbe new ore 'body has advanced 'about SO feet through ore that was . running $:'0 per ton. The report 'states that an average sample from (he face of the ore body assajed $76 j per ton. j According to the prellminar estl- mate for June, the largest tonnage I in the history of the mine was treat- j cd, namely 32.3C0 Gross production j amounted to ?542,000, expenses $200.-000 $200.-000 and estimated profit at $342,000. Although the gross value Is slightly less than that of May, the estimated net profit exceeds the preceding month by $33,000. It is probable that i the final report for the month will t show that tho high grade ore shipped to the smelter has increased the esti- mated profit for June. |
