Show BIG DEMAND FORSEATS Many People Arrange to Hear Arguments In Darrow Case Lob Angeles. Cal., Aug. 10. So great has been the demand for seats at the bribery trial of Clarence S. Darrow next week when final arguments argu-ments will be made that admittance probably will bo arranged bv card only. The entire week will be given over to oratory with the case going finally to the jury not later than Friday Fri-day evening. There was no session today as the taking of evidence was concluded yesterday. Assistant District Attorney W. J. Ford will make the opening argument argu-ment for the prosecution Monday. Each side has been allotted two days and a half and Ford expects to ues both sessions of that day Tor his summing up of the evidence. He will be followed Tuesday by Attorney Horace A. Appel, who will open for the defense. Appel will split the day with Chief Counsel Earl Rogers, who will continue his speech thiough the great part of Wednesday. Because of his oratorical ability, Darrow's closing speech in his own behalf is expected to excite the most Interest. The accused will begin his plea to the jury Wednesday afternoon and conclude Thursday noon, after which District Attorney John D' Fredericks will make Hie closing argument, ar-gument, using Thursdaj afternoon land probably all of Friday. |
