Hurst and Mrs. Frank M Driggs delightfully entertainod Wod-nesdav Wod-nesdav and Filday at the opening numbers of a series of Kensingtons which will be given during the next few weeks. The handsome grounds at the Driggs home woro made exceptionally excep-tionally attractive with a profusion of the season's floral wealth. Hanging baskets of f lowers, Jardinieres of golden gold-en glow and other flowers, placed on pedestals and tabourettes, small tables, ta-bles, Navajo rugs, easy chairs, swinging swing-ing seats, rockers and hammocks wero offecthely placed and together with the bevy of ladios in lovely summer sum-mer gowns made C - scene a charming charm-ing one. Tempting refreshments were perfectly per-fectly served and the happiest of social so-cial hours was spent The hostesses were assisted on Wednesday by the Misses Zura and Ferll Hess, Irene and Marjorio Short and Mrs Owen Halverson. Mrs Van Hutchison of Chicago, who are Mrs. Hurst's house guests during August, Mrs. Owen Halverson Hal-verson and Mrs. Wright assisted MACK-WEDELL. News of the recent marriage of MIbs Katie Mack, former cashier at the National, and Joseph S Wedell of Lebanon, Colo., at Dolores, Colo , has been received bv Ogden friends. Mr. Wedell is a nephew of W. B. Wedell of this city and formerly lived here, graduating from the Ogden High school In tho class of '02. Ho Is now part owner and secretary of tho Cedar Grove Orchard company at Lebanon, Colo. Miss Mack 1b well known and popular, having a large coterie of friends here who wish her much happiness and a prosperous future. fu-ture. LAWN SOCIAL. The Ladles' auxiliary to the I. A. of M. gae a lawn social at the home of Mrs W I. Rowse, 22G1 Lincoln avenue, last evening, the affair proving prov-ing an exceptionally pleasant .one. Refreshments were served to a largo company, n varied social program was enjoyed and music, vocal and instrumental, in-strumental, was a delightful feature.
