Show NOW FOR WINNING BALL. With local men back of the Ogden baseball team in the Union j 'Association league, there will be thst ?rkU in the achievements of ' I the team which should bring out the old spirit of intense loyalty and boost that in the past made Ogden the best baseball city in the intermountain country. y When Qimliu, Case', Evans, Borcher, Plakc, NagelSchnable, Clark, Hansen and Barry made up a team which was invincible, there was not a fan in this region who failed to attend every game ' and act the part of a faithful rooter. Nearly all the old team be- - I came fixtures that is to say, they attached themselves to Ogden, jf J married and settled down. Now we do not aim to have that part KaL of our baseball history repeated, but we do look forward to the IS& j obtaining of a dozen or more players who will begin to make life & 1 miserable for the Salt iLake rooters, and if that degree of success Hf.' J is attained, the average Ogden fan will rest contented. Sat?- I . 1 |
