Show WILL PROBE THE DEATH OF WOMAN Now York, Sept. 6. Pending a decision de-cision from the district attorney's office of-fice here, the attorneys of Orange county, N. Y., are holding Jn abeyance abey-ance authority for the murder of Airs. Rosa Szabo, an Austrian woman, who was drowned In Greenwood lake, that county, while in companv with Burton W. Gibson, a New York lawyer. law-yer. At an Inqii03t at the time of the death a vordict was returned of accidental acci-dental drowning. One of the chief questions to bo cleared up Is whether Mrs. Pcntronella Menchnlck, mother of the victim, and beneficiary under the will, is alive. Mr. Gibson contends con-tends she Is alive in this country and ho has produced what purports to bo a waiver of citation signed by her, placing him in control of her daughter's daugh-ter's estate. In the affldait submitted submit-ted to the surrogate, the Austro-Hun-garian consul alleges Mrs Menchnick died in 1910, and that the waiver of citation Is a foregry. Mr. Gigson says lie can explain everything and answer all charges at I the pioper time. |
