Show INJUNCTION SUIT IN SALT LAKE Salt Lake, Sept. 5. Suit waa filed yesterday hi the Third district court .bj Edwurd L, Burton against H. P Clark, tho Continental Lifo Insurance & Investment companv and all of the directors of that roneem excepting T. R. Culler, charging that Mr Clark and five of the directors had conspired con-spired to secure tho control of tho corporation. Mr. Burton also sought an order of the court restraining the mrectors from holding a meeting yesterday yes-terday aftornoon to ratify an alleged agreement with iir, Clark Tor the purchase of $100,000 mortli of !he treasury atock of tho concern. .Judg.) Aftor reciting that tho capital stock of the company consists of 5000 shares of a par value of $75 each, of which 2785 shares have l)cn Issued, the complaint alleges that the control of tho stock llos with Mr. Bui ton and other stockholders who are unnamed. Mr. Bui ton alleges that tho annual meeting of tho stockholders 13 scheduled sched-uled to he hold ue.t January and that at that time he and other sotckhold-ers sotckhold-ers desire to effect a change in the personnel of the directorate and the officers of tho company Messrs Edwards, Cunningham. Dern, McCornick aud Mayo are alleged al-leged to be opposed to the proposed changes.
