Show yU TEACHERS ARE TO MEET ON MONDAY Superintendent John M Mills of the city schools announced this morning that tho school buildings are all in readiness for the opening Monday morning. The first day will be taken up largely In assigning students to their various departments and advising advis-ing them regarding the work before them. Tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock, the principals and supervisors wiil meet with Superintendent Mills in his office In tho city hall to perfect plans for the opening Monday, It will serve as a get-acquainted meeting with the pedagogues. In the afternoon at t o'clock the working forces of the school, including includ-ing teachers, principals, supervisors, janitors and all will meet in the assembly as-sembly hall of tho High school to complete an organization for the school work of the city After the business of the regular meeting is over an Informal reception will bo given by Superintendent Mills, at which a natermelon or two will be broken and the school workers invited invit-ed to cat thereof. Mr. Mills thinks he has a splendid corps of teachers for the ear and ho flatters himself that the scbools are to begin work this season under fa-orable fa-orable conditions.
