Show SUITS AGAINST A BUILDING COMPANY Judge A G Horn lias filed two other oth-er suits in the district court for damages dam-ages against tho ZIon Co-operative Home Building and Roal Estate company com-pany of Salt Lake on tho grounds that stock of the company was sold to Fred W Voll and B. F. Estes of this city under false representations Theae two suits, with four others filed last week in the district court, involve more than $20,000 and prominent men of Salt Lake are implicated in the transaction, among them being George E Romney, president of the company. The allegations of tho complaints filed Saturday afternoon aro to the effect that the condition of the Sait Lake company was misrepresented and that dividends wore paid on tho stock falsely for the purpose of inducing induc-ing the plaintiffs to secure more of the stock It is said in the pleadings that the plaintiff, B. F Estes. on April 1, 1910, purchasod 2,500 shares of stock at 31 per share and that on December De-cember 10, 190S. tho piainllff. Fred W Voll, purchased 1,000 shares at the same price. The plaintiffs ask for their money back with interest and that the stock issued to them bo cancelled. oo |
