Show HEARING I , SALT LAKE Sugar Case 'to Be Transferred Trans-ferred From San Francisco Fran-cisco Court San Francisco, July 31. The hearing of the government's suit in equity against the American Sugar Refining company will be taken up in Salt Lake Monday! This announcement was made today by Assltant United States. District Attorney G. H. Dorr, who is assistang ln tho prosecution of the, suit, no witness being heard here. The dally sessions will be extended ex-tended to enable the government examiners ex-aminers to finish the last hearing by tho end of the week. It was hald that a number of witnesses wit-nesses would be examined In Salt Lake, but the names of only two were made public. They are George C. Parkinson of Preston, Idaho, formerly former-ly a director of the Idaho Sugar com-p'any. com-p'any. and H. G. Whitney of Salt Lake City, secretary of tho Utah-Idaho Sugar Su-gar company. Subpoenas have been sent to Uie United States marshal at Salt Lake for service on the prospective prospec-tive witnesses. oo |
