A of Salt Lake City defeated tho Weber Acad-omy Acad-omy team at the latter's gymnasium last night. For the first half, tho local bovs held their heavier opponents oppon-ents to a tie scoro, the count being 15 to 15 after the first twenty mln-uto mln-uto period of play. Salt Lake then put In fresh men in all but one position po-sition which handicapped considerably consider-ably the local boys. Tho visitors succeeded suc-ceeded In running up 26 more points In tho socond half while Ogden scored only 10 points. The game last night marked tho opening of tho basketball season.
