Show PROMINENT IAN DIES SUDDEHLY James C. Jones, for 2S years a valued val-ued employe of the Utah Construction company, suffered a fatal stroke of apoplexy at tho Falstaff cafe last night at 9 o'clock. Death was almost Instantaneous. Mr. Jones was head book-keeper for the construction cora-panv cora-panv at tho time of his death, a position he filled with highest credit for tho past few years. Seeing H Bender, a personal friend, enter tho cafe, Mr. Jones walked Inside and engaged en-gaged him in conversation. Suddenly Sudden-ly he was seen to reel and would have fallen to tho floor had not bystanders by-standers 'caught him. As soon as his condition was realized, Dr. F. G., Clark, who happened to bo passing nlons Washington avenue, was called In. Ho round that a stroke of apoplexy apo-plexy was the cause of death. W. H. Wattls, vice prosldent and general manager of the Utah Construction Con-struction company, was notified. He In turn broko the news to Mrs. Jones who le prostrated. The body was taken tak-en to Heaton & Klrkendall's morguo to be prepared for burial Mr. Jones had appeared to be In his usual good health by frionds who had been in conversation with him during tho day.
