Show oo PROMINENT RAILROAD OFFICIALS After an extended trip over tho northern lines, J. A. Monroe, third vlco president of tho Union Pacific, In general charge of traffic, and with a number of other prominent officials of the Harrlman system, arrived In his city on a special train about noon today. They have been Inspecting tho Idaho and Montana lines for the past en days. Tho officials walked up town, calling on David Eccles, J. T. Abbott and others. Gorrlt Fort, passenger traffic director direc-tor of the Union Pacific and Oregon Short Line, was a member of tho party when It loft Ogden more than a week ago, but ho returned to Omaha Oma-ha after they reached Pocatello. The other officials with Mr. Monroe are D. E. Burloy, general passenger agent of the Orogon Short Line; .1 A. Reeves, gonoral freight agent; C. J McNltt, general auditor, n.nd E. C. Monson, general superintendent. The officials remained In this city during the afternoon, hut Mr, Monroo was oxpectod to depart for tho cu3t this evening |
