The two girls wlin r.M nrl nnm(f limn mm linv lint been located and it seems quite certain cer-tain that they havo confederates aiding aid-ing them in their concealmenL Complete Com-plete descriptions of all tho runaways have beon sent in all directions and rewards are offered lor their capture, so that it Is more than likely that they will be apprehended within a short time. Superintendent Gowans received word this morning that Bismarck Wal-tors Wal-tors and two othei boys were captured cap-tured in Logan canyon yesterday and taken to the Logan jail, where they aro being held for the school officers. offi-cers. Mr. Meyers will go to Logan this afternoon. It Is certain, Dr. Gowans Gow-ans says, that tho officers have Wal-tors Wal-tors in custody, but the description given of the other boys hardly fits the othyr two IadB who arc supposed to have gone north with Walters. The doctor 'states, however, that It Is quite certain that the two boys with Walter are the boys who ran away from too school a few days after Marks and Hindley made their escape. Officers of the school feel certain that young Stephens, who escaped with Walters, Halcomb and another lad, did not go far with them, but that ho made -his get-away irom tho state by rail. He came from tho east and Is an exceptionally bright little fellow, well verbed in the hobo life, and it is natural to presume that be would try to get back to his old haunts in SL Louis. Those bos stole a horse and buggy from tho Cragun homo In Pleasant View, the horse returning re-turning two days later. Thoy were traced as far as Mantua, a few miles east of Brigham City, but were lost track of there. The presumption is that they stolo a fresh horse at Mantua Man-tua and turned tho Cragun horse loose to return home. The boys were making mak-ing their way east through Logan canyon, Saturday, with a horse and buggy when appfehended. |
