Howard, chief of tho bureau of ontomologj. department de-partment of agriculture. Tho Washington Wash-ington official is oxppcted to arrive in Utah on Septembor 20, or soon after that dalo. and ho will visit many districts dis-tricts of the state, among them Weber county. Dr. Howard has been looking over tho work of the goernment experts who are fighting tho gypsy moth in tho east, aud after visiting Utah will go to Texas anil see how the flght Is going on agalnSf the cotton boll weevil. wee-vil. Dr Howard will be met in Salt Lake by E. S. Fiskc, who has boon In southern south-ern Europe all summer sending 10 America parasites that prey on gypsy moths, boll weevils and alfalfa weevils. wee-vils. George Reeves, who Is in chargo of tho alfalfa investigation In Salt Lake, will show the visitors around iho slate.
