Show ji THREE INJURED l SURDAYRUIAHAY Three persons were injuroij. two quite seriously, when a team which was being driver by F M. Farrell ou Upper Twcnty-filfth streot yesterday morning, became frightened and ran away. With Mr. Farrell In tho carriage car-riage wero his wife, son and another relative. In front of the Sacred Heart academy acad-emy the team dashed to ono sldo of the street and a wheel collided with Ihe curbing, overturning the buggy All four of the occupants were thrown' out, tho little boy being the only one to escape Injury Mr. Farrell sustained a fracture of the shoulder and also a numbor of cuts and bruises about the body and arm-Hls arm-Hls wife received very painful bruises, but the relative sustained only minor Injuries. The injured people wer6 taken into a nearby house, where Dr. Ezra Rich dressed their wounds. They wero then taken to tholr home at the corner of Twenty-third and Lincoln Lin-coln in William H Harris automobile. It Is a coincidence that this trip also resulted In an accident which sent one person to tho hospital Mr. Harris is mnnagcr of the Ogden Paint, Oil & Glass company, and after taking tho Farrell family home ho returned by way of the postofflco. He was driving east on Twenty-fourth Twenty-fourth street when J. Matsuzkl, a Jap who was learning to ride a bicycle, collided with the machine, throwing the bicycle rider to the pavement. H sustained a slight scalp wound. For the second time within a few hours Mr Hnrrls transformed his auto into an ambulance, conveying tho injured Jap to the Dee hospital Tho nutolst was driving his machine at a very slow rate of speed, and the confusion of the bicycle rider when he saw tho auto approaching was responsible for the accident. r |
