Never before did it make so much sugar In. ninety-seven days, the length of tho present run. About 120,000 tons of beets were cut, bringing the average up to nearly near-ly 1,300 tons per day. 0er 32,500,-000 32,500,-000 pounds of sugar were produced. The superintondency placed 3,500 bags as an exceptional day's run and promised the men a bonus of 10 per cent whenever this amount was exceeded. ex-ceeded.
