Show uv . PRISONERS IN JAIL FEAST Thanksgiving did not pass unnoticed unno-ticed In the jails of the city today. At both the city and county jails there were special dinners for the men and women who arc confined behind be-hind prison bars. In spite of the misfortune which casts a shadow over the Anderson household, Mrs. Hagbert Anderson, wife of the city jailer, did not neglect neg-lect the annual cheer which per meates tho cit,y jail as a result of the Thanksgiving feast. TThe prisoners were served with a well-prepared dinner consisting of roast chicken, dressing. celer cranberry cran-berry sauce, broad and butter, coffco and cream, cake, and pu ldlng. Tho Inmates of Ihe count jail fared equally well with mince pie. |
