Show BOAT CAPSIZES IN UTAH LAKE BLIZZARD Proo. April 22. For more than an hour Friday evening three men clung on to an upturned boat on Utah lake while the wind blew the water Into huge waves and the snow and sleet numbed their bodies, expecting every minute to be dashed to death in the treacherous waters. Roy Curtis of thQ Moslda Land company, com-pany, accompanied by Don McCor-mick McCor-mick and BUI La Franco of Denver, who have been in Moslda on an inspection in-spection tour, went out for a sail on mo lane i-Ticiay afternoon, and when about two miles from shore a terrific storm came up. overturning the small sailboat in which the men were. All of the men were chilled and numb from the cold, but Mr Hafen succeeded easily In getting them into in-to his craft and leaving the capsized boat to its fate toolc tho rescued men to Mosida, where, after a change of clothing and a hot drink, they appeared ap-peared none the worse for their mishap. |
