H The people of Oregon, when that cry was raised, said there had B been no railroad building and the slate could not be any worse off Hl "with a coinmishion, insofar as it might affect railroad construction. H Bui, strange to relate, immediately following the organization of a j commission, the state began to be developed by the railroads and H'j nearly all the railroad extensions and new lines have been con- H slructcd since then. H ! Let us remember this when at some future date the demand is LL j repeated in Utah for a railroad commission. |
