Show FIGHTING FIRE IN INDIANA SCHOOLS Carlisle. Pa., April 24. The Indian bureau at Washington has adopted for use In all the Indian schools the system sys-tem of fire protection which originated at the Carlisle institution. The Carlisle Car-lisle school fire department numbers 70 grown male pupils and tho apparatus appar-atus consists of a hose carriage, hand engine and complete set of Judders and salvage apparatus. To aid the firemen, the 1.200 Indian In-dian boys and girls at Carllslo arc especially disciplined. The fire alarms are sounded by certain detonations deton-ations in the fire company buildings, Indicating In which of the tventy-flve school buildings a fire has occurred Immediately students and employes proceed to their headquarters.
