Worrell in the Stevens building yesterday afternoon, and while the culprit was discovered ' by tho physician, he nevertheless escaped es-caped with a quantity of cocaine and morphine. The man had been seen hanging around the doctor's office for several days and it is supposed that he slip- ped Into the room whllo Dr. Worrell j was absent for a few minutes yestcr- i day. Shortly after the physician had j occasion to move n bed In an adjoining adjoin-ing room, and he was surprised when he moved one end of the bed that the other glided off in an opposite di-lection. di-lection. I He Investigated and found tho in- ( truder concealed under the bed. Without ascertaining whether the man had taken anything Dr. Worrell allowed allow-ed him to go, and later decided to havo him arrested. It was not until aftor a police officer arrived that the doctor discovered there were missing a C0-grain bottle of morphine, a bottlo containing 40 drops of cocaino solution and a box of cigars. The police havo not been able to secure se-cure a trace of tho robber. rtn
