Burton of Kays-vilie Kays-vilie and Lee Avis of Tooele. Finals Fin-als in all three general divisions were conducted to determine the champion fitters. Halter classes of the Horse Show competed in the afternoon preliminary prelim-inary to the evening event. Eighteen Eigh-teen animals were entered. Forty separate entries were listed for the main Horse Show which took place at 7:30 p.m. The affair was featured by the Sorority Riding Contest. Defending the title won last year by Alpha Chi Omega were Florence Crane ol Captam Henderson proviaea a keynote for the USAC Agricultural Club sponsored events which followed fol-lowed the "Livestock Day" meetings meet-ings Wednesday afternoon and evening, with the statement, "When we get aw-ay from the horse, we shall lose also some important simplicities of our society." In tire feature of the Livestock Exhibit, the coed cowmuKirig contest con-test at 12 noon, Betty Adney, freshman fresh-man from Corinne, won the campus "milkmaid" title held since last year by her sister, Joyce Adney. Ad-ney. Afternoon events were in the livestock fitting and showing contest con-test conducted among USAC student stu-dent cattle enthusiasts under direction di-rection of Lawrence Brough of Nephi and Alma Brinkerhoff of Logan, both seniors in animal husbandry. hus-bandry. Joyce Adney of Corinne won top place in the sheep division over the other finals competitor, Keith Boyer of Springville. In the dairy cattle classes, Fred Cornaby of Spanish Fork was named nam-ed champion, followed by Alvin Warnick of Hinckley, Paul Turner of Morgan and Vernon Buttars of Clarkston. Leo Gillespie of Tooele Falls, Louise Haynie of Alemosa, Colo., end Marian West of Logan. Other entrants were, Chi Omega, Francis Montrose of Logan, Henrietta Hen-rietta Jones of Cedar City, Sherma Stanfill of Tremonton, and Rachel Barlow of Salt Lake City; Kappa Delta, Jean Crawford of Price, Frances Rawlins and Marjorie Hver of Lewiston, and Louise Yose, Big Piney, Wyoming; Theta Up-silon, Up-silon, Gwen Keetch of Montpelier, Idaho, Jane Peck of Mt. Pleasant, Barbara Perkins of Salt Lake City, and Lois Adams of Layton. Frances Rawlins acted as Ag queen at the Horse show. Captain Henderson was judge, George B. Caine was ringmaster and Mr. Fel-sted Fel-sted was master of ceremonies. I " ' i . was awarded ,the mgnesc numoer of points in the beef cattle showing show-ing competition. David Sharp Jr., assistant 4-H club leader in the USAC extension service, judged the sheep division contestants, Charles Warnick, assistant as-sistant county agent in Box Elder County, judged the dairy cattle entrants, and Ezra J. Felsted, manager of the Ogden Stock Show, judged beet cattle fitters. Prime animals belonging to the college were prepared for the contest con-test and showed by the students. Complete results were as follows: sheep, Hampshire ewes, Keith Boyer and Jack Fitzgerald and Don Evans of Kamas; Hampshire rams, Don Evans, Grant Esplin of Cedar City, and Alvin Warnick of Hinckley; Hinck-ley; Southdown ewes.
