Show Probably the first shipment of American Amer-ican tin ever brought into Utah reached Ogden Monday morning over the Cen. tral Pacific from the famed Temescal tin mines and works near Biyerside, California, consigned to David James 4 company, Salt Lake City. The consignment consign-ment consisted of thirty-eight pigs, aggregating ag-gregating 2,290 pounds. On each block were the words, "Temescal American Tin." The bars, tbe product of protection for American resources and American labor, attracted considarable attention as they were being transferred to the Uuion Pacific.
