Show Aooldentj On Monday last little Guy Nelson while trying to get some wood from the wood pile met with a painful accld ent. It appears that Gay was up on the wood pile, intending to get a piece of wood-when wood-when some one took hold of a board of and raised one end of it. and le t it drop. The board struck the pile and springing back hit Guy, and knocked him off the wood pile a nd over the rence. He was taken into the house and Dr. Hosford summoned. Upon his arrival the doctor learned the right arm was broken at the elbow, and about five inches above. The doctor dressed the arm and took his departure, leaving the little fellow qnite comfortable and at last accounts he was improviug as rapidly as could be expected The other day John P. Horsely and his slater were driving on the outskirts of the city when a dog ran out and frightened the horse. The horse jumped and tipped the vehicle over, throwing the young lady out, Mr. Horsely held to the reins and was dragged quite a distance sustaining a compound fracture frac-ture of the left arm. He went to Salt Lake Wednesday for treatment. A lad named Burt who bad his arm broken in two places several weeks ago, was playing on the street one day this week and running about as if nothing was the matter with him. He became a little too reckless, stumbled and fell. Striking the hard ground with considerable consid-erable force he again broke his arm. This time about midway between the two former breaks. The doctor was called and with difficulty net the arm, and cautioned the boy to. be more care-fal care-fal In the future. The little fellow berffs his misfortune bravely, and will nooubt be all right in two or three weeks |
