Show SEASON ESTABLISHED FOR SAGE HEN AND GROUSE Under the authority of Section 27, Chapter 36, Laws of Utah, 1923, I, D. H. Madsen, State Fish and Game Commissioner of the State of Utah, do hereby declare that The season during which Sage Hens and Grouse may be legally killed n Utah shall open on August 28th and close on September 5th. Provided that it shall be unlawful to hunt for, or kill, either Sage Hens or Grouse on any State Game Preserve Pre-serve or n Untah, Emery, Carbon or Iron County, or n that portion of Juab County lying east of the range of Mountains separating Nephi Valley Val-ley from Dog Valley. Provided further that Sage Hens may not be legally shot in Tooele County. The season on Mourning Doves shall open on September 1st and close on September 5th in all counties coun-ties of the state. It shall be, unlawful to kll in one clay, or to have in possession at any time, more than eight Sage Hens or more than eight Grouse, or more than eight Sage Hens and Grouse it being intended to prohibit the kiliing in one day, or the having in possession at any time of more than eight birds of either or both varieties. varie-ties. It shall be lawful to have in possession, or to kill in any one day, not to exceed fifteen Mourning Doves, in addition to the limit prescribed for Sage Hens and Grouse. NOTE Any person hunting for any kind of game, birds or animals within with-in the State of Utah, is required by law to have in possession either a S2.00 hunting icense or a $3.00 combination com-bination hunting and fishing license. A $2.00 fishing license does not permit the holder to Jiunt for any kind of game. It is not lawful for any license agent to accept a $2.00 fishing license in exchange for a ?2.00 hunting license, nor to accept a $2.00 fishing license and any sum less than $3.00 for a $3.00 combination combina-tion license. Persons who have already al-ready purchased a $2.00 fishing license must pay full price for any other license desired. Unlawful to shoot Quail or Pheasants Pheas-ants during the open season for Sage Hens and Grouse. Open season on these birds to be declared later. |
