Show Beaver Crown is Getting Good Ore Word has just been received from A. Y. Taylor, superintendent of the Beaver Crown mine at Milford, that men have started to take out ore. A sample assay from the vein on which work has been commenced shows a value of better than $85 in lead and silver. Engineer L. G. Hardy will leave for the property Tuesday evening for the purpose of assisting in directing di-recting a drift which is to tap a large ore body which, the management manage-ment says, has an exposure of fiO feet above measuring four by 25 feet of high grade ore. The machinery has all been overhauled and is in excellent work- ing condition and new equipment has been installed. It is expected that the first carload will be ready for shipment in about two weks' time. Survey. |
