Show BEAVER COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL NEWS ITEMS The Carnival last Friday night was a huge success. The biggest event of the year so far you know we are going to have many more. The candy booth was in the hands of the Ninth grade not enough candy can-dy was the only fault. They sold out long before the dancing crowd arrived. The fish pond was too small for all of the fishers. The fish were much enjoyed. This was by the Eighth grade. The Seventh grade are certainly good farmers. Their garden was well cultivated and very well picked over Did you hear those horns and whistles? Well they came from the confetti booth with the Tenth grade in charge. They not only had a lot of noise, but they made a pretty sight. The Seniors served pie, coffee and hot dogs in' the dining room. They pleased the eye and appeased the appetite. ap-petite. The orchestra was on an elevated stand and played excellent music. All proceeds went to the year book Thanks to the public. There will be a play at the auditorium audi-torium on the 13th, given by the Murdock Academy of Beaver City. "The Man on the Box" Don't miss " it. The students were at the high school nearly all day Saturday, washing up dishes and cleaning up the building. |
