The Illinois Central,' Northwestern and Great Northern railroads each lost several hundred feet of tracks. Late Monday it was stated that the Illinois Central Cen-tral had made repairs which would enable trains to reach the city from that direction, the first since Friday evening. The flood waters f Big Sioux river and Dry Creek, which raged through the streets of Hawarden Friday night and Saturday, Satur-day, have receded, and no further damage is anticipated. |
