Show Sufficient Funds Will Be Secured To Insure School Ground Work That Milford's school grounds are at last to be improved is now an assured fact. After long effort on the part of the Lions club, augmented aug-mented by invaluable service and cooperation co-operation on the part of the various fraternal, .religious and other organizations organ-izations of the town, sufficient funds have been raised or pledged to insure in-sure the work being done that has so long been needed at the schools. Now that the funds are available, arrangements will be made for teams and men to do the grading as soon as this is possible, after which Mr. Hansen will be notified and will come to Milford to supervise super-vise the work. Not enough can be said in praise of the work of the ladies who so whole-heartedly got behind this movement and devoted their time to securing donations. The list published below is actual cash receipts and does not include amounts pledged by card or otherwise. other-wise. It is thought that with the amounts already pledged and donations dona-tions yet to be received from those who have not been seen, the amount will be swelled to $500 and that this will be sufficient to carry out the work as planned. Additional contributions con-tributions will be published when the amounts have been turned over to the treasurer.
