Show LOCALS and PERSONALS Mrs. Belle Gifford and two children, child-ren, Paul and Gail, and Miss Celesta Jeffers of Des Moines, Iowa, spent several days here recently with their brother, Jay Jeffers and family. They made the trip by auto and spent several days in the Black Hills of S. Dakota, and Yellowstone park and on ther return trip home to Iowa, were going through scenic points of interest in Colorado, stopping a few days in Denver. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Jeffers and family have returned from a trip to Grand Canyon and the parks of Southern Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gadbury and family have gone on a trip to Puffer's Puf-fer's Lake, Zion park, Cedar Breaks, Brvces canyon and Grand canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Hanlin came from Salt Lake Sunday to visit with their sister, Mrs. Jay Jeffers and family. Miss Beth Coleman was hostess to a group of girls that met at a farewell fare-well party for Miss Mae Rogers, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. Al. Joest, for several weeks. Mrs. Albert Joest, Jr., accompanied by two sons, left Tuesday afternoon for a two weeks' visit in Salt Lake. She will be in Provo for the U. P. shooting match." How's your fruit bottles? Lowder, Parowan, Bert Cluff, Fillmore and LaRue Morris Mor-ris of Beaver, all visited our city this week. j Henry Jennings is at the Milford hospital receiving treatment for one of his limbs that was fractured several sever-al years ago. George Cockett of Beaver, was in town Wednesday morning to take the remains of Thos J. Sly to Beaver for burial. Mrs. Dave Anderson of Los Angeles is here visiting Mrs. Reno McDonald i for a few days. Mr-. L. M. Simpson of Ogden, is here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mis. C. A. Trenholm, and sister, Mrs. Dan Coleman. A.. J. Bigler has changed the name of his cafe which has been known as the Ever-Ready for a good many yours, to the Utah Cafe Joseph Manzoine and wife and baby of the Telluride Power station I in the Beaver-canyon, spent Thursday Thurs-day afternoon here on business. ; Dr. Henry C.
