Marksheffel, J. S. Hanks and M. E. Hickman, absent ab-sent Wm. Elmer and Mayor Ralph Pitchforth. Trustee Marksheffel was elected president pro tem. The appointment of J. A. Ingols as assistant treasurer for the convenience conven-ience of property owners in the payment pay-ment of their sewer assessments, etc., was confirmed by the board. Bills to the amount of $450 were allowed and ordered paid. Must Clean Your PreniLse.s The matter of better sanitary conditions con-ditions was discussed at length . and Health Officer McKeon was Instructed Instruct-ed to notify every property owner or person occupying town property to clean all alleys adjacent to said property and to remove all obstructions, obstruc-tions, such as woodpiles, manure, ash heaps, tin cans, etc., therefrom immediately. All vacant lots must be kept clean and free from weeds. If the owners or occupants of unsanitary unsani-tary property refuse or neglect to heed the health officer's warning to "clean up" by March 20th, their cleaning will be done for them and the expense of same charged against the property. To Paint Fire Hydrants The Town of Milford proposes to furnish paint and brushes necessary if the members of the fire department will see that they are used in painting paint-ing the iron fire hydrants, and it is said that the department is ready to accept the job for the better appearance appear-ance and preservation of the hydrants. hyd-rants.
