Show V SURPRISE A happy surprise party was carefully care-fully planned and successfully carried car-ried out, by the friends of Mrs. William Wil-liam Munford last Saturday night 'in honor ofMrs. Munford and her mother, Mrs Anna G. Cannon, of Salt Lake, who has been with her for some little time. Rushing home from her work to prepare herself for the masquarade ball that evening she turned on the light and to her dismay found the house full of smiling smil-ing ladies. Well it was a complete surprise and they spent the evening playing Five Hundred and Pit, following fol-lowing with an elaborate lunch that the ladies had brought with them. Mrs. Scot Tanner was the winner of the first prize at 500 and Mrs. Bessie -Coon won second. Mrs Cannon car-'ried car-'ried away 1st prize at Pit and Mrs. Nellie the second prize. The following ladies were present: Mesdames Bessie Coon, Scot Tanner, Harry Larson, Josephine Sanders, Johnson. H. H. Pitchforth, Charles Schow. Nellie Schow, Jack Weston j Sadie Root. Anna G. Cannon, James Hedges, Munford, Hanks. Lee. |
