Show ! COMMISSIONERS MET I Board of County commissioners met at Beaver, March 3rd. Meeting was called to order by Chairman Par I kinson and many important questions ques-tions were discussed. The greatest problem before the county commissioners, is, where the money is to come from to fix and build roads that are much needed throughout the forest reserve and post roads. They are putting great dependence on what the U. S. govern ment will do for the county of Beaver, Bea-ver, and Commissioner Parkinson will leave the last of the week to be in Salt Lake Monday,' March 10 to attend a meeting to discuss the matter and find out the how these funds may be used for the benefit of the county. Another important question is that Beaver county is being thoroughly thoro-ughly swamped with dependent moth ers, a result of the flu epidemic. Their needs must be met in some way The epidemic is decreaseing and things seem a little brighter. New-house New-house and Frisco are still under I strict quarantine. J. A. Griffiths is the newly appoint ed health officer of-Frisco and William Wil-liam A. Morse is the newly appointed appoint-ed health officer of Newhouse. |
