Show CRONE-MESS PARTY About the jolliest party of the season was the one given by Mr. and Mr. -v. w. Crone and Mr. and Mrs. John Mess in the big farm house at the Demonstration farm, last Friday night. The guests were all dressed in ghostly gho-stly costumes or other Hallowe'en costumes. They were first initiated in the large living room which was decorated beautifully with orange and black crepe paper curtains, pumpkins, pum-pkins, black cats, witches, etc, and lighted by the fire in the large fire I place. A guessing contest in which the guest had to identify a frozen rubber rub-ber glove, dough, ice, spider, hot potato po-tato etc, which were passed in the dark was won by Mrs. D. A. Baxter. In the pantomimes, Mrs. C. T. Woodbury and Mr. J. McCormlck j won the prizes. Dancing followed, during which a barrel of cider and apples were served ser-ved and at a late hour, refreshments appropriate to the occasion were served. ser-ved.
