Show RED CROSS BENEFIT The Catholic Aid gave a party at the Milford Opera House Tuesday" evening for the benefit of the Milford Mil-ford Red Cross. The Opera House was artistically decorated with large American flags and "We are with you U. S. A." pennants. There were seven tables of bridge players and seven tables of 500 players. The prizes were very appropriate for the occasion and thrift stamps were awarded to Mrs. H. L. Martin and Bert Nichols as bridge score winners and Mrs. Murray Bowen and Mr. Mc-Cubben Mc-Cubben as 500 winners. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served by the Aid members. mem-bers. The "proceeds of the evening, amounting to thirty-five dollars, were turned over to the chairman of the Red Cross. |
