Show The road from Miiford, through Newhouse, to the Nevada State line has been designated as a State road. There are, therefore, State funds available to put it in first-class condition. By all means, this should be done at once. Residents of the Snake Valley, on the Utah-Nevada line, complain that the route is in bad condition and that freighters have been "stuck in the mud" for two weeks at a time. If this proposed diversion of traffic through this country is to be accomplished, the route must be made satisfactory to those whose patronage we are trying to secure. This is also true in regard 1 to the road from Miiford norlh to the State line This latter phase of the I question is considered in a separate article on the first page of tins issue. j |
