Show MURDOCK NOTES Friday evening we gave our usual Founders' Day dance. Thursday afternoon, Oct. 25th, the school held its inter-class track meet. The Seniors were the victors, with the Sophomores second and Juniors third. Tuesday afternoon the school orchestra or-chestra made its initial appearance by giving a matinee dance. The orchestra or-chestra is progressing splendidly and will soon be ready for regular work. ' " Last Wednesday night the Sophomores Sopho-mores entertained at their annual dance. The hall was beautifully decorated dec-orated with autumn leaves and Hallowe'en Hal-lowe'en decorations. The evening was spent in dancing and playing games, after which refreshments were served. October 26th, was Founders' Day at Murdock. It was also dedication day and was fittingly observed. After a parade in town. Friday morning, the students, together with the town people, returned to the school, where the dedicatory services were held. A number of our former principals and teachers were here and gave us some very interesting talks. After the services a banquet was served to the faculty members, visitors and some of the townspeople. 1 |
