But the generally low level of the copper group has long since discounted such factors, and it is believed now that, although there may be a fur-thor fur-thor paring of dividends in some direction in the main, the worst effects ef-fects of price fixing and excess profits prof-its taxation have been felt. While the eteel Issues have had a considerable consider-able advance from recent low levels, the copper group In general has not yet responded to any Important extent ex-tent to the better market anticipated. Washington advices say that there Is a conference being held yesterday and today between copper representatives represen-tatives and the war Industries board. All Indications pointed to an increase over the present price. |
