Myron Lewis and Mrs. Mitchell Coon had entertained with a shower for Mrs. Charles Miller. Those present were Mesdames D. A. Baxter, Harry Korns, Charles Miller, Jack Weston, Roper, Jack Sherwood, Abe Fotheringham, R. Siewert, Ezra Barton, Wade Coon, Clarence Grimshaw, Bessie Stuart, Roy Cottrell, Scott Tanner, Karl S. Carlton, Wayne Banning and Misses Mary Roper and Mayme ocaow. The Odd Fellows building had burned to the ground and was a total loss. The thermometer had registered 11 below zero making it hard for the fire fighters. All the Odd Fellows saved were the chapter chap-ter and their books. Everything belonging to the Rebekahs, including includ-ing dishes, books and a new player piano, were destroyed. The G. I. A. to B. of L. E. had installed the following officers for the coming year: Beulah Olsen, president; Lemma Blandpied, vice president; Betty Dawson, secretary; secre-tary; Blanch Christensen, treasure er ; Flora Cuddy, sentinel; Ida Steenbock, chaplain; and Laurell Sportsman, guide. Mr. and Mrs. Karl S. Canton had entertained at 600 for Mr. and Mrs. Myron Lewis, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Tanner, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Kesler, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Foster, Mrs. E. R. Smith and Mrs. Harvey Hedges. Mrs. Steve Stoker and daughter Lillian had come home from Salt Lake where Lillian had been operated oper-ated for appendicitis. Miss Mary Roper had entertained entertain-ed for her sister, Mrs. Wayne Banning. Ban-ning. Those present were Mrs. Myron Lewis, Mrs. Mitchell Coon. Mrs. Roy Cottrell and Mrs. Charles Miller. Mr. and Mrs. George Litchfield had entertained at 500 for Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Larson, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Melcher, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Harris, Mr. and Mrs. James Masters Mas-ters and the Misses Ilbena and Jennie Edwards. The Spoon club had entertained their husbands at a 500 party. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Murdock, Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam Elmer, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Mclntire, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Theissen, Mrs. Henry Hunter, Mrs. James Glenn, Mrs. Hewlett, Mrs. Paul Evans and Mrs. William Noyer. |
