DG-35's improvised dragline is putting the dirt into the West Point dam, located five miles west of Milford, at the rate of 200 yards per day. Mechanical Foreman Linn D. Bernard, inventor of this machine, is in charge of the construction. con-struction. i Construction of a dam at. Dead Horse point was commenced a short while back. Clyde Tervort is in charge of this job. The corewall of the Minersville gap dam is nearing the spillway level. Foreman Al Barton, directing direct-ing this job, reports the dam is about completed. Company 2530 was very fortunate fortu-nate in obtaining a new caterpillar, caterpil-lar, and they expect to complete l more work in the year 1937. |
